Pruning

Pruning trees and plants is a necessary part of a gardener’s thriving garden.

Without it, their growth would be altered, or worse, stunted.

God prunes me often. Sometimes it hurts and often I question, “why?”

It’s not long when I see God’s reasoning, and I’m all the more confident that I serve a great God.

John 15:1-2 - “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.”
