Staying positive in tough times.
We will all face trials in our life. There will be days that it seems nothing is going right and you’ll want to just give up.
But, hope is not all lost if you have Jesus in your life. If you had asked me these same pondering questions in my 20’s and 30’s I would probably have different answers. Like, how can you be hopeful when life’s struggles seem endless?
If you are reading this, there’s still hope for a better tomorrow. It may not look like you want it to, but Jesus came into this world so that we could be saved from all the hurt and pain. It’s up to each one of us, individually, to make the decision to let Jesus in, and let Him reign in our life.
Satan would love nothing more than to steal today’s joy from you. Don’t let him. If we keep focusing on the ‘what ifs’ and the lies that we hear daily, then slowly, methodically, the devil will build layers of negativity around your heart.
As soon as Peter took his eyes off Jesus in the stormy sea, he started to sink.
Instead of focusing on Jesus’ promises, he focused on his circumstances and started to sink.
That’s what’s happening in this world today. We’re so focused on the virus, the vaccination wars, the middle east calamities, that we’ve forgot what truly matters.
Trust Jesus to get us out of this mess; on the other side. If He can part the waters for His people to cross over, can’t He bring back our hope of tomorrow?
Be optimistic, stand strong on God’s promises and we’ll all get through this stormy season of life.
Isaiah 41:10 - “So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; i will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
