Maintenance
Your car will have more power and last longer if you take care of it. It does require consistent checkups of all major parts of the car. But, in general, if you take care of your car, it will perform well for you.
It’s the same thing with our bodies. If we maintain a consistent regime of exercise, (even if it’s walking) and watch what goes into our body, (the food and drinks) then it should perform the way we need it to.
As Christians, this applies to us also in that we need to clear our minds. We should be open in our thoughts and accessible by God. We must confess our sins, instead of pushing them aside, and acting like no one will find out.
Stay pure in heart, serve others and take care of this one body God gave you.
The best maintenance plan for any of us is to stay in God’s word, follow His lead and consistently nourish your relationship with Him.
Hebrews 11:6 - “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
