Set apart.

All my life I’ve longed to belong. Early on, I followed the wrong crowd. I chased after broken dreams. I would try anything to be accepted. This led to many years of searching, only to end up in dead end places.

I was looking for others to make me happy. I thought happiness was out there waiting on me to claim it.

Until I was in the pit, looking up, did I realize that happiness wasn’t in people, it was in Jesus.

Each one of us has a purpose. Everyone has a unique personality, set apart from anyone else.

Jesus died so I could live. I now belong to the savior of the world.

God chose you specifically for a purpose to bring light and love into the world but not to be of the world. As a Christian, you are chosen to live a life that glorifies God in all that you do and say. 

Before we were born, God set us apart and appointed us to be a prophet to the nations.

Romans 12:2 - “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasingand perfect will.”
