Broken but still useable.
We can never escape sin. We were all born with it.
Sin can be described as, to miss the goal or target, to rebel, to reject or to even ignore God’s standards. It is to fall short of what God expects of us. We can think of sin as the opposite of righteousness. Righteousness is living within God’s just and right standards, while sin is failing to live by those standards.
Some of the best testimonies are from broken people. People who know what it’s like to suffer and go through trials, but who also experience the presence of God during those times.
I’ve had many seasons of trials in my Christian walk but instead of the circumstances breaking me, God used me to bless others.
When we live within the guardrails of God’s Ten Commandments, we free ourselves from all sorts of suffering caused by breaking those commandments.
Allow God to use you today. Tell someone your story. It may change their life.
Matthew 5:16 - “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
