Could your disappointment be God's appointment for you?

Disappointments are inevitable in life.  It's how we choose to cope with them that is crucial in our ability to overcome anything.

Jesus states in the bible that we will have disappointments; there will be heartaches and trouble.

While we can't avoid disappointment, we can trust through God's word to trust in His promises.  That's the hard part; trusting in His plans when things are not going as you planned, or nothing makes sense to you.

I've had many disappointments in my lifetime and it's only been within the last few years that I've found a key ingredient in overcoming disappointments or dealing with them when they come.  The key is not focusing on what's not working and what's not going as planned, but focusing on the good in my life right now.

I've found that when you focus on God and totally surrender to His plan, then it leaves little room for anything negative or disappointing.

God's got a plan for all of us.  The next time you come across disappointment, ask yourself, "could this be God's divine appointment for my life?"

We'll never be disappointed in life if we put our trust in God.  Try it!

Colossians 3:23-25 - "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality."
