Act in love

As Christians, we are commanded to love others and extend grace. Once you establish a true relationship with God, your desire is to please God and keep His commandments.

But, you will find in life, times where loving someone is a hard thing to do. You will find moments where loving the unlovable seems like an impossible task. There have been times in my life that even though I knew I was committed to another person, it seemed inconceivable to be kind to them, let alone to love them.

This is where God comes in. As an obedient follower of God, our desire is to please Him. Our devotion is to give God our whole self. The only way to do this is to fully surrender your life and love others as Jesus does.

These are called acts of love. Ask God to help you love someone that’s unlovable today. God is love!

1 John 4:8 - “Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
