Endurance.

I admire the athletes who, day in and day out, diligently follow a regimen of training to get their bodies ready for competition.

The key component to all of the training is endurance. Do you have what it takes to endure the pain, the injuries, the daily monotonous routines?

As it is with Christian life. We, who are Christians, are all in training. Even though most of us don’t follow a routine schedule, we should be reading and following the words of our daily guidebook, the Bible.

To have the stamina and capacity to face each day, we have to withstand the obstacles that come our way.

God never said life as a Christian would be easy, but He did say He would be there through it all.

Hope produces endurance. If you’re in Christ, you will have the training, the capacity and the faith to get up each and every day.

Even though the future may seem bleak, trust God and follow through with faith that He will be right there with you through all the pain and suffering.

Romans 5:3-4 - “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
