Can you see the goodness, despite not so good circumstances?
It’s hard to be thankful when your world is falling apart. But it is a necessary part of being a Christian.
People are always watching us, seeing what it will take to break us; wondering if the tragedy that strikes our family will turn us away from God.
Know this (if you’re a Christian): God will not allow any temptation to come into our lives without a way out.
There’s absolutely nothing that we’ve ever done or that’s been done to us that with God’s grace and power we can’t stomp the head of the adversary and say ‘no more!’
While you're going through your struggle, if you will hand it to Him, He will see you through. No matter what you're being tempted with, no matter how Satan attacks you, there is absolute hope beyond hope.
The devil hates it when we’re calm during the storm. It cripples him to see you happy while your world is falling apart.
When you wonder why you’re going through a terrible situation, think about what Jesus went through to give us a new life, a life without sin and destruction.
We are not enough on our own. We all need Jesus.
Look for the goodness in every day. Despite what you may be going through, there is always someone who’s going through worse.
Deuteronomy 31:6 - “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrifiedbecause of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
