Satan on a leash.

If you’ve ever been the owner of a dog, you know that daily walks are a must.

When I was growing up, dogs just roamed around the neighborhood without a leash. This is not the case now, at least not in the U.S.

Most people don’t realize that even though Satan has power here on earth, he’s still subjected to the length of his leash, just like a dog.

God has the ultimate authority over a Christian’s life, but He can allow the devil to intervene at times. You might ask why a loving God would even allow it. It’s so that God’s power will be revealed through us. It’s our ultimate faith in God that will send the devil running.

So, when your world appears to be falling apart and you’re unsure of where God is, think about God holding onto Satan’s leash.

God’s power will always prevail. That’s where faith starts and fear ends.

Hebrews 2:14 - “ Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil.”
