Decisions.

We make decisions every day. Some small, some big. We decide what to wear, what to eat, etc. The bigger decisions often take time. They should be weighed and well thought out.

I’ve found that when managing these choices if I recognize that God already knows my future, it lifts the burden from my heavy thoughts.

God wants us to choose, because we love Him and want to obey Him, to make our decisions within the overall blueprint of His will. It is the Holy Spirit who can guide our choices even as we have freedom to make them.

Proverbs 3:5-6 - “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
