Sophisticated sinner.
The world’s view of evil seems to focus on the nature of the society.
But in reality, sin is in the wealthiest as much as it is in the poorest of neighborhoods.
A poor man may pay $20 for a prostitute while a rich man sleeps with his neighbor’s wife.
God doesn’t look on man in regards to their social status. He looks at the heart.
Jesus tells a parable in the Bible, where the rich man's sin was not the fact that he was rich; it was that he refused to care for a person in need.
Sin is sin. This story also illustrates that once we cross the eternal horizon, that’s it. There are no more chances. The transition to our eternal state takes place the moment we die.
Jesus died for every person’s sin. Are you ready to admit it?
Luke 16: 22-24 - “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.”
