Follow the leader.

You may or may not have relied on a GPS before, but it can be quite challenging. Even though the GPS is usually reliable, there are times where it can take you on a route you didn’t plan on taking, or worse, taken you to a dead end road.

What about our spiritual life? Are we allowing God to guide us in the right direction? There have been times in my life when I have questioned God, wondering why my plans didn’t pan out the way I dreamed they would.

But hindsight can be a great teacher. You see, God can be trusted, even when He’s taken us in uncertain areas. It’s the unseen hidden agenda that only God controls that we question, but will ultimately put us on the right path.

Think of the holy spirit as your spiritual GPS. Trust in God’s ways, even if you disagree with them. His historical record shows that in everything, God can be trusted.

Following God's leading often means letting go of things that you really don't want to let go. Sometimes you cannot even see why God would ask you to let go of those things. But that's part of faith, isn't it, trusting God with things that you cannot see?

Proverbs 16:9: “We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.”
