The long road.

I’ll admit, life is hard, and when you’re going through challenges that seem unending, the road looks long.

But, if you’re a Christian, you know that the journey will not be alone. Jesus is with us through every trial, every battle.

Looking back on this last year, our family was going through a very hard time and the attacks of satan seemed relentless. It was hard to see what good God was going to bring from all of the heartache that lingered.

But, praise God, He carried us through the journey and brought us to a place of rest and security. That didn’t just happen because of luck or anything we did, it was all God.

So, the next trial you come to (notice I didn’t say “if”), know that God’s got this. He stands on His promises. I can’t begin to count the many times in my life that He has seen me through.

If He can bring His people out of Egypt, He can get you through this, whatever it is you’re going through.

Step out in faith and endure the battle with God by your side. It may seem like a very long battle, but God’s already won the victory.

Romans 5:3-4 - “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
