Turn your mess into your message.

Some may not know this about me but I was a rebel in my early teens. I had wonderful parents who loved me and were Christian role models. My dad died when I was ten and a few years later, something changed in me. Even though I gave my life to Christ at sixteen years old, it wasn’t long after that when my life spun out of control. I slowly drifted from God. I thought I could live life without God and just go my own way.

I started believing the lies that satan was telling me; that I was worthless and not good enough to be a Christian. How foolish was I to go on living this way for many years; turning my back on God.

But God never let go of me. Even in all my destructive actions, God saw me. He stayed right by my side. Thankfully after many years of struggling, God brought me out of the ditch and onto the right path (just as He did with Joseph in the Bible. God brought him out of a ditch (literally) and into a palace).

These messes that I made have become my most treasured messages. You see, I’ve been where some of you are right now. I know the feeling of desperation, loneliness; feelings of anxiety and worry.

If you feel like your world is falling apart, look up and find God. With God in your life, it will get better. What do you have to lose? Allow God to turn your mess into your message!

He did it for me and will do it for you!

2 Timothy 4:7-8 - “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
