Effort.

If you want to achieve anything in life you must put some effort into it. So it is with being a Christian. Some may think that they can be saved from sin and that’s all they have to do; just skate through the rest of their life.

But that’s not what God had in mind when He created you and me. We all have a purpose and if you’re a Christian, God has purposely given you instructions through His word (the Bible) to go and tell others about Him.

You can’t just go to church on Sunday and do whatever you want the rest of the week. It takes effort to follow and please God, and if you lack the desire, ask God. He will give you the motive and the will to do it.

Just think of the possibilities and blessings of putting forth the effort to follow God.

The results you achieve will be in direct proportion to the effort you apply.
