Feed my sheep.
In John 21:17, Jesus said, “feed my sheep.” Jesus calls Peter to demonstrate his love for Him by feeding His sheep. Who are His sheep? The people of God.
A good shepherd is known and trusted by his sheep. He protects them and provides everything they may need.
As Christians, God gives us the ability to feed His sheep. We do this by telling others about Him and also encouraging new believers to grow in God’s love.
Now, we all can’t be preachers, but God doesn’t expect us to be. When we are saved by grace and born again, we become ambassadors for Christ.
How do we feed His sheep? A wonderful place to start is to serve others, share what you know about God and what He’s done in your life.
Truly feeding Jesus's sheep means offering good news that impacts people's lives holistically. Out of love, feed God’s sheep.
John 21:17 - “The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.”
