Emergency Contact.
Do you have an emergency contact? What would happen if you were in an accident and needed help? Would the EMT worker be able to find the personal contact for you?
Some people will use prayer as their ‘emergency contact.’ I’ve done it before; something tragic happens or the diagnosis has caught me off guard, and I start praying, fervently.
Prayer must be your lifestyle, not your go-to when things go wrong. Prayer should be our daily and consistent communication with God; our lifeline to living.
Think about it: we don’t limit our conversation to our spouse, kids, or friends, only when we need help, do we? So, why should we only reach out to God when something goes wrong?
Prayer not only strengthens our faith but also reminds us of God's presence in our lives, acknowledging that He alone grants the grace needed to overcome evil and hardships.
Start today by communicating with God on a daily basis. He’s only a prayer away.
Prayer changes everything!
Mark 11:24 - “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
