Our body is unique and no one body is alike. We are, after all, made in God’s image, but are we living up to that standard?
Everything man-made will wear out eventually. You can care and maintain your car, but at some point, it will fail to operate for you.
There’s still no guarantee that if we nourish our body, exercise regularly and keep harmful substances away, that our body will uphold the struggles of life. But, thank God, if you’re a believer and you have a relationship with God, you will one day have a new body. You will see the results of a life well lived.
Our bodies are so important that God calls them ‘temples of God.’
Faithful Stewards recognize that God owns it all. This is the foundation of stewardship, and it leads to all kinds of Christlike characteristics.
We have been given this body as an instrument for glorifying Christ. The way we tend to our bodies should testify that Christ is all-satisfying. Christ died for my body therefore it belongs to Him.
Want good results of a life well lived? Get God in your life and see for yourself.
