Opportunities.

There have been many times in my life when I have thought, “if only I had known.” An opportunity is a set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something.

For example, while standing in a grocery line, had I known that the person in front of me was spending their last dime to feed their kids, I would have offered to pay the bill.

The Bible teaches us that we should make the most of opportunities, do good, and be a blessing to others.

None of us know what a day will bring. Life is fragile. We’re all one breath away from an eternity somewhere, right? The good news for Christians is that as long as you have breath in your body, there’s still time for us to tell others about Jesus.

Quit stalling, and looking for the perfect moment to step out of your comfort zone and tell someone about the God you serve.

Sharing with others—sometimes called witnessing since we are witnesses to Christ—is a vital part of the Christian life.

We don’t have to know everything that we learn from the Bible, but we should be looking for opportunities to tell others about how Jesus changed our life.

Remember that God does not call the equipped; He equips the called—and as Christians, we are all called to share what Christ has done.

Look for opportunities to share the love of Christ today.

Ephesians 5:16 - “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”
