You cannot walk with God and run with the devil.
I heard the above statement the other day.
We try to do this all the time. We go to church on Sunday and say, “look at me, I’m following God,” then Monday morning comes, and we’re running all over the place, filling our time with busyness, until we’re exhausted to even give God a thought, let alone a few minutes in prayer.
It says in the Bible, you cannot serve two masters.
You cannot do what you want, when you want, and leave God out of your day.
Satan loves it when we get so busy playing church and being nice, but having other motives to get what we want out of people.
When we say we’re a Christian, we should be showing this to others in our actions and behavior.
You can’t be a Christian and hate the guy you work with, just because he may be unfriendly, or weird. You can’t serve others, expecting something in return.
Love God, follow Him, show others this love, and you’ll be amazed at how fast the devil runs from you.
Matthew 6:24 - “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
