Fear makes us forgetful.
There are many things to be fearful about, especially now. Fear of the future. Fear of the virus. Fear of the unknown.
Fear strikes everyone at some point. I’ll admit, I’m anxious about our country’s future. I’m concerned about the many people that are out of work. But, there’s one thing I’m not fearful of and that’s my future. God has a plan for me and I trust Him. Not because I can see into the future or have some magic ball. It’s because I’m confident that my life is safely in His hands and no one or nothing can take that away from me.
I haven’t forgotten all the times God has rescued me; all the mercy given, just at the right time.
Don’t let fear cripple you. Don’t allow the enemy to take away your confidence in Christ.
God has promised me a home in heaven some day, and I stake my life on that promise. I know that I will have problems here, but He’s never more than a breath away, and He never breaks a promise.
Don’t let fear make your forget the promises of God.
Hebrews 10:35-36- “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”
