Pulling the emergency button.
I just read a statistic that over 2000 people die a day from depression, but you really don’t hear anyone talking about it.
My heart goes out to the millions around the world who are battling this horrible disease.
Depression can creep into your life slowly and before you realize it, you find yourself in panic mode.
You just want to pull the emergency button and have it all go away.
I know. I’ve been there. But, as I’ve grown in my faith, I know there’s someone to go to in times of trouble. Someone that can calm me. His name is Jesus.
When Jesus lived on earth, He experienced some of the same things, and because of who He is, we can go to Him at any time and ask for help.
He’s asking us ahead of time to give Him our burdens and He will carry them.
No need to pull the emergency button today; turn to the one who cares for you. Jesus.
Give your life, your burdens to Jesus and you’ll find panic a thing of the past.
Luke 11:9-10 - So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
