Humanity.
We are to value human life by loving others, tending to the sick, feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, seeking justice for the oppressed, and caring for the orphans, widows, and strangers. But are we doing this?
I’ve seen less of this in the past year. People killing each other, disobeying the law, living selfishly while others are dying from their mistakes.
I listen to God first. He directs my steps and actions. I listen to the scientists and doctors and our leaders who God appointed. Then I have a choice. I can ignore all authority, or I can do the right thing. It may not be that popular with my peers, but none of that matters when we know in our hearts that human life is precious.
God desires that no one should perish, and so should we too.
Matthew 25:35-36 – “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
