Preserving.

My mom used to do a lot of canning, taking vegetables from the garden and preparing them to use in the winter months.

God does the same in us. God promises to preserve His creation. He renewed His covenant with mankind in the presence of Noah and his family. Within this blessing, came the promise that He will never destroy the earth by a flood. God pointed to the rainbow as the sign of His covenant promise to preserve creation.

Even when we mess up, God has a plan. And, when our choices bring destruction, the Lord has a plan to preserve and restore us. As we turn to Him, He shows us His compassion.

God purposely puts us in the right places. When we feel like there’s no way out, God promises He is already making a way.

Know that whatever situation you find yourself in today, that God is busy at work accomplishing your purposes.

God protects, defends and preserves us each and every day of our life. While God is preserving us, we must also preserve what he has entrusted us with, earth. Our uses of the earth must be designed to conserve and renew it rather than to deplete or destroy it.

Psalm 24:1 - “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;”
