Alignment.
A vehicle’s wheel alignment can get off for a number of reasons, including hitting a pothole, suspension parts can wear out or become loose, or just simple wear and tear. So, if this happens we should take our car in for a wheel alignment. Otherwise, we’re heading for a major car repair or worse, an accident caused by bad wheel alignment.
What about our life as a Christian? What happens when we’re not on the same path that God meant for us? Maybe we started out on fire for God, then our world fell apart. We blamed God and now we’re living no different than everyone else.
Aligning our lives with God means always becoming more like Christ. When we’re in tune with God, it makes us free from natural limitations, able to do the works of Jesus and greater works, by the help of the Holy Spirit. In short, spiritual alignment is the process of aligning our thoughts, words, and actions with our highest truth. This means living in a way that is in line with your deepest values and beliefs.
Aligning with God means playing our part in the body of Christ. Do you need some readjusting in your life today? Let’s allow God to straighten out the crooked parts of our lives and position us with His plans and purposes.
Proverbs 19:21 - “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
