His pace - our preference.

I can honestly say that I am closer to God now than any time in my Christian walk. Although, there have been times when I have felt like God was a million miles away.

As a Christian, it is my faith in God that keeps me on the right track. My faith has grown deeper as I walk with God and can see what He’s doing in my life.

The Bible teaches us to ask God for anything. Now, that doesn’t mean that everything we pray about will come to fruition. But it does mean that our plans may not be what He has in store for us. God has perfect timing in answering our prayers; never too early and never too late. It takes a lot of faith and some patience to wait on God, but oh how it is so worth it. He always wants good for us.

Knowing God’s pace may not be our personal preference, but it does allow us to wait with a sense of direction and expectancy.

There will be times in our lives when His timing feels like a long, desperate delay. God is giving you all you need in Christ, and everything He does in your life-even everything He doesn’t do-is based on His deep and unshakeable love for you.

Wait on God. You’ll be glad you did.
