Anticipation.
Most of us have experienced anticipation as a child, maybe a birthday, or the excitement of opening presents on Christmas morning.
Anticipation is the feeling of excitement or eagerness about something that is going to happen in the future. It allows us to look forward to something positive.
So, how do you look at your future? Is it promising, or is it full of dread or defeat? Anticipation is about expectation. When was the last time you truly had hope, the expectancy of something big was going to happen? What about when it comes to eternity? Do you know what happens when you die?
You will never know the peace of anticipation until you give your life to Christ. He is the God of redemption and restoration. He is able to take what seems abandoned and broken beyond repair, and bring new life.
I have learned to anticipate God’s next move in my life, and that helps me to be excited about tomorrow, my next chapter, and my lifelong journey.
What are you anticipating right now?
